Blue Hope, Water for the World, presents at the 1st Sustainability Forum Quintana Roo 2024.

The association Blue Hope, Water for the World, was presented for the first time at the 1st Sustainability Forum Quintana Roo 2024 “Challenges and Opportunities,” a key event for the sustainable development of the region. During the forum, held at the Moon Palace hotel, the organization’s work in favor of water conservation was showcased to hundreds of attendees, generating great interest from tourism sector entrepreneurs and other associations committed to sustainability.

Through a video presentation, the importance of strengthening environmental education and fostering active participation from various sectors in the conservation of water resources was highlighted. The various initiatives implemented by Blue Hope, Water for the World, for water protection were also presented, including training programs, installation of water filters in vulnerable communities, and the promotion of sustainable practices.

The forum, inaugurated by the Mayor of Cancún, Ana Paty Peralta, brought together government leaders, entrepreneurs, and environmental experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities in sustainability in Quintana Roo. During the event, panels and keynote conferences were held on key topics such as land management, water management, and the recovery of coastal ecosystems.

The presentation of Blue Hope, Water for the World, had a significant impact on the attendees, motivating various tourism companies and associations to join the cause and support the organization’s projects. This backing strengthens the private sector’s and civil society’s commitment to water protection and the promotion of sustainable practices in the region.

Blue Hope, Water for the World, reaffirms its mission to educate and raise awareness about the importance of water for health and ecosystems, and celebrates the opportunity to have participated in this high-level forum. The association will continue strengthening partnerships and developing projects that contribute to ensuring access to clean water and the conservation of water resources in Quintana Roo and beyond.
